06/15/2010 -- We were really disappointed with the accomodations. It was booked as a 3 bedroom. One of the bedrooms was a furnished attic space with no vent for air. The door was closed when we arrived and it was truly hot, even though the rest of the condo was freezing. The lighting was also poor. The pool was closed the first 2 days we were there. -- Rosemary W.

At ResortQuest, we rely on our customer's comments to improve overall service and to inform our owners when upgrades or improvements are needed for their unit. We will certainly contact the owner about the lighting issues and I'm sorry for any misunderstanding about the size of the condo. All of the larger units at Crystal Sands are two bedrooms (with a loft) allowing them to sleep the same number of people as a typical 3 bedroom. I also apologize the pool was closed for 2 days.

Great for families
12/09/2009 -- "Our Fall 2008 stay at Crystal Sands was a refreshing break for our family of four and two teenage friends. We prefer a condo situation with most of the amenities of home, but situated right on the beach so we do not have to cross any streets or travel to the beach. The furnishings and accommodations fit our situation well as we eat in often, watch movies, play games and spend very little time with entertainment other than beach-sitting. The quiet and family-friendly clientele are very important to us. The office staff was courteous and helpful as we typcially arrive after office hours. We have planned a trip to the Gulf almost every year and rented via ResortQuest. While the Coral Sands Reef Club was our all-time favorite rental location and we miss it, Crystal Sands is a very close duplicate. We found the condo to be clean and smoke-odor free (also important). My only criticism would be the overall functioning of the washer and dryer combo in the hall; we give it a pretty good workout and the laundry process takes quite a while due to the small capacity of this appliance. But the beautiful view and convenience of everything else more than make up for it! -- Mrs. Allen Z.
