12/09/2009 -- I rented this unit through ResortQuest. The unit was absolutely gorgeous and we were so close to the beach! The staff at Crystal Sands were very nice and accomodating, and they even let me rent DVD's for free!

I left my heart in Destin
12/09/2009 -- I had never neen to Florida before, but my husband had been and he said he didn't like it. However, he had been in Miami and had never been to the gulf coast side. When we got there, we were so amazed and in awe that we could not believe it. It was so beautiful and so perfect. The condo was great (Crystal Sands) but the beach and ocean was a whole other amazing surprise for us. We live near the beach in Cali but the water here is cold and dark and you cant see the bottom which creeps me out. I want to know what's down there by my feet. We were in Destin for a wedding and all I ever say is how I cant wait until our kids are older so we can all go and stay there for as long as possible. I have been to Hawaii, Tahiti, Jamaica, Cabo, etc. Nothing compares to Destin. I'm coming back baby!!! Another selling point for those party people, you can drink beer/wine/whatever right on the beach.. Bring your cooler and kick back for the day. The beach patrol came by and we thought we were going to get "busted" as we would here in Cali for having a beer in our hand on the sand. -- Teffeni
Great Condo
12/09/2009 -- We have stayed at Crystal Sands the past 10 years. We find the condo to be a great value. It has a good location, good amenities and is clean! The office manager (Georgann) is always agreeable. We missed her while she tended another condo for a few years! The first floor is our preference so we have tried several units over the years. The best....the unit we stayed in this past year, 112A. We have been chased off by hurricanes three times. Twice while they headed to the Houston area and once when it headed toward the Destin area. Having the TravelGuarde insurance we were able to recover our lost days. I would highly recommend this condo. We prefer a smaller, less overpowering vacation stop. This is it!
