This fall family tradition is a perfect chance for residents and visitors to enjoy a culturally filled, fun weekend outdoors. Puppet shows will be performed throughout the weekend. Actors from the Seaside Reputony Theater will take children and their parents on imaginary adventures through story telling. Kids can make their own butterfly puppets and other crafts, paint butterfly murals, have their faces painted and create their own butterfly wing masterpieces that can be worn for the butterfly costume parade that will take place each afternoon. There will be butterfly garden tours, music throughout the weekend, a Walton County student butterfly exhibit, bounce houses and street games. Admission to the festival is free, although some activities may require a small fee.
