Seasonal Kid’s Programs & Family Activities at TOPS’L Resort
Welcome to Surf’s Up Kid’s Club! Our goal is to help "kids" have a fun-filled vacation…one where they will meet new friends, build memories and enjoy activities that are different than they can experience back home.
Surf’s Up Kid’s Club and Kids Night Out are drop-off programs for children ages 5-12 where kids participate in a variety of supervised activities. As a parent, you can enjoy a game of tennis, relax on the beach or poolside, go shopping or whatever your heart desires knowing that your child is supervised and having fun! And don't forget to check out our Poolside Crafts (also popular with older kids) and our fun-filled Family Night with our "Low Country Shrimp Boil" and Poolside Activities...there's plenty of "food and fun" to go around for everyone...and you're invited! Surf’s Up Kid’s Club: Ages 5-12 (Tuesday thru Friday - 10:00AM-3:00PM)
Children participating in Kid’s Club will have a day filled with activities inside and outside of the pool. A typical day at Kid’s Club will include outside games at the beach and on the Tide’s lawn followed by lunch. After lunch (which is included in the cost), the Kid’s Club crew will make kid friendly crafts followed by games in and at the Fitness Center Pool. See our price list for costs.
Kid’s Night Out: Ages 5-12 (Tuesday, Thursday & Friday - 6:00PM-9:00PM)
Children participating in Kid’s Night Out will participate in a number of activities. Some of the activities will include; Dive-in Movies, make your own ice cream sundaes, fishing at the pond, Guitar Hero I, II & III, American Idol Karaoke, Sing Star Karaoke, Dance Dance Revolution (DDR), Deal or No Deal, High School Musical Karaoke and much more! Cost of food is included. See price our price list for costs.
Poolside Crafts: Ages 5 and UP! (Tueday thru Friday - 3:00PM-6:00PM)
Kids of all ages (including kids-at-heart) enjoy our advanced craft acivities such as bead-making, pottery painting, creating a stuffed friend, tie-dying (yes, it's still in style) and much more. Teens and parents are welcome to participate in this creative and fun-filled activity. Cost varies based on the "cost of the craft" chosen for a specific day.
Family Night -"Low Country Shrimp Boil" & Poolside Activites: All ages! (Wednesday - 6:00PM-8:00PM)
This is your chance to enjoy an evening of great food & fun! Experience our “southern style” shrimp boil with all the trimmings and have fun with the kids! Take our Aqua Rodeo challenge (can your child beat you), participate in our Biggest Splash or Hula Hoop Contests (show your kids how it's done). Other activities include Pool Games, Relay Races and more! Cost for the shrimp boils varies based on market price, but the fun and family memories are free!
Sno Balls: Available Poolside (Tues & Wed 3:00-6:00PM; Friday & Sat 3:00-5:00PM)
What's a Sno ball?
It's the New Orleans version of a Sno Cone only we think they are better! Pick your favorite flavor (we have many to choose from) and enjoy this frosty treat poolside. Cost $4.00 each.
